Tin & Bristle is a painting and decorating company originating in Winnipeg, Manitoba. It’s a family-owned business (created by my brother Jeff and I) that prides itself on its workmanship and high quality craftsmanship. Below are some examples of the work that I created for our company Tin & Bristle – including the brand’s visual identity, business cards, and more.
Initially, Tin & Bristle’s logo had a hand-drawn aesthetic to it. The focal point of the logo was a rusted pick-up truck that was going to be used as our company vehicle. As seen below:
We later decided to change the direction of our brand / visual identity to communicate a more clean and minimal aesthetic, as we felt it better reflected our company. Below is the simple / minimal logo we ended up using as our company’s logo:
